All pets must be leashed and cleaned up after while in the park. Please help us keep the park clean and respectful for all visitors. Your cooperation helps maintain a safe and welcoming space for everyone who enjoys Frank Melville Park.

Fishing is not allowed in the park due to harm to wildlife. Catch-and-release fishing is permitted only from the south side of the Old Field Road Bridge while standing on the bridge. Please follow posted signs and regulations when near the water.

For the safety of wildlife, dogs, and visitors, drones are not allowed in Frank Melville Park at any time. This includes all recreational, commercial, or hobby drone use. Your respect for this rule helps preserve the peace and safety of the park.

Wedding parties and photography are only permitted if you are renting the Bates House. All others are strictly prohibited in the park. This includes elopements, bridal shoots, or group photos. Please contact park staff for rental availability.

Gatherings and events must be approved by park personnel. Please email us in advance to request permission. Unauthorized events, large picnics, or group activities are not allowed. Your planning helps us preserve park access for all.

Bridge use for photos is allowed: weekdays, Saturdays before 1pm, or Sundays after 2pm. No pass is needed if you are not bringing a professional photographer. Please respect time restrictions so others can enjoy the park equally.
