2026 Summer Music Series

July 5th – Carl Safina & Moment’s Notice (featuring Mala Waldron)

A unique blend of spoken word, storytelling, and live jazz. Carl Safina—known for his work in nature and conservation—joins the jazz ensemble Moment’s Notice, with acclaimed vocalist Mala Waldron adding soulful, expressive vocals.


July 12th – Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks

A high-energy Long Island favorite playing rockabilly, roots rock, and classic rock covers. Known for getting crowds dancing with a fun, retro Americana vibe.


July 19th – Carlos Jimenez Mambo Dulcet

A vibrant Latin ensemble delivering mambo, salsa, and tropical rhythms. Expect upbeat, danceable music with strong percussion and horns.


July 26th – Tom Manuel & The Jazz Loft All-Stars

A polished jazz group featuring top musicians associated with The Jazz Loft. Their performances span swing, bebop, and modern jazz with a sophisticated, accessible feel.


August 2nd – The Liverpool Shuffle

A tribute to the British Invasion era, The Liverpool Shuffle delivers classic hits from The Beatles and other iconic 1960s bands. Their lively, nostalgic performances capture the sound, style, and spirit of the era, perfect for sing-alongs and dancing.


August 9th – Free Range (featuring Cathy Rose Salit)

An eclectic, genre-blending group mixing rock, soul, and improvisational performance. Cathy Rose Salit brings dynamic vocals and an engaging stage presence.


August 23rd – Wayne Hart & Dirty Boots

A crowd-pleasing country rock band with a modern edge. Their set typically includes country favorites, southern rock, and upbeat originals.


August 30th – 1 Step Ahead

A versatile party band covering pop, rock, dance, and classics from multiple decades—great for all ages and guaranteed to keep the energy up.

Master Gardener

Join us at the Red Barn for this annual garden event where our Master Gardener will be available to answer all your questions about growing vegetables and flowers. Attendees can also choose from a selection of his own plants to take home and add to their personal gardens.

Every Second Saturday of the month

Bird Watching

Join Lucille Betti-Nash for a monthly bird watching walk at Frank Melville Memorial Park, held every second Saturday of the year. These guided walks offer a peaceful and engaging way to explore the park’s diverse bird life, whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting out. Lucille brings her deep knowledge and passion for birds, making each outing both educational and enjoyable.

Participants meet at 11:00 AM behind the Post Office, between the pond and the small parking lot – an ideal starting point for spotting local and migratory species. Bring your binoculars, cameras, curiosity, and love of nature for a memorable morning in one of the area’s most beautiful natural settings.
