Thank you Michael Rosengard
Facebook story by Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich with Olde Town Gardens in Setauket
The stone bridges at Frank Melville Memorial Park are one of the defining features of the Three Village community and people gather there day and night to enjoy the beauty of our historic buildings and coastal landscape. Michael Rosengard, resident artist and caretaker of so many of our community’s treasures, noticed that the roadside verge on Old Field Road was worn out and needed care, and he once again got to work to make it better. Just in time for spring, please enjoy the transformation Michael did. He made a beautiful spot even better! Michael, as always, your community is deeply appreciative for your time and effort.
It is true that Three Village is a wonderful place to live, but in the end, a place is just made up of the things collected there; the water and land, houses and buildings, roads and bridges, grass and trees. It is the spirit of those who inhabit it that turn a place into a community, and Michael, your spirit truly animates this place and makes it a home for all of us. Thank you!
