We’d like to remind everyone that fishing is no longer permitted from either side of the bridge on Old Field Rd at Frank Melville Park. While we believe fishing is a great outdoor activity that brings people closer to nature, the park is privately owned, and we ask that you respect this rule to help preserve the park’s ecosystem.

For those eager to enjoy freshwater fishing, there are many other legal locations throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties.
